This year we are calling all Girl Scouts to show the world what your cookie can do! For example: What if a girl could gather 100 people to do good things in her local or global community? What if she could make possible the donation of 100 packages of cookies to an organization in need? What if she could use $100 of her cookie proceeds to make her world a better place? Girls K—12 are encouraged to share their cookie’s story with us through film, literature, photography, drawing, painting, collage, or photo diary for the opportunity of a lifetime—a trip to Savannah, Georgia!
To complete the Show the World Challenge, submit your project and the entry form. Submissions will be evaluated on the following Girl Scout Take Action criteria :
- Girls can identify community needs.
- Girls are resourceful problem solvers.
- Girls advocate for others, locally and globally.
- Girls educate and inspire others to act.
- Girls feel empowered to make a difference in the world.
The individual winner of the Show the World Challenge will have the opportunity to jet away to the city where it all began! She and three guests will receive airfare, a rental car, hotel accommodations, and a tour of Juliette Gordon Low’s Birthplace! What are you waiting for? Show the world what a cookie can do!
